Food Pantry Wins Hospitality & Stewardship Award

We’re pleased to announce that the Trinity Food Pantry has received the Hospitality and Stewardship Award from the RI Community Food Bank.

This award recognizes the care with which our clients are treated once they enter our doors. Specifically, “It honors agencies that, through their work providing food to those who need it, serve their communities with dignity and compassion, exemplifying the values of the Food Bank.”

The award was announced at the annual conference for Member Agencies of the Food Bank and our Food Pantry has been presented with $1,000 to help further our ministry.

We’re also happy to note that TWO other Episcopal church ministries were awarded:

Pete & Andy’s Food Pantry at St. Peter & St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church, Providence, was awarded the “5 Star Award.”

East Greenwich Interfaith Food Cupboard at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, East Greenwich, was awarded the Community Partnership Award.
