Our Rectory
The entire parish campus is on Scituate Reservoir property. This means that we have the rare privilege of using land that overlooks a protected body of water that serves as a source of drinking water for nearly one-third of the state of Rhode Island.
Our parish rectory is a one-story, two-bedroom ranch-style home located just a few steps from the main church building. The rectory provides a comfortable living space for our Rector and their family.
The home features a large deck overlooking a wooded area and the Scituate Reservoir beyond. It also features a fully finished walk-out basement with the possibility of added bedroom or recreation space. It includes a one-car garage and comfortable outdoor parking for up to 4 cars.
During this time of transition, we have taken the opportunity to do a number of renovations and upgrades within and around the home. This includes:
- An updated kitchen with refurbished cabinetry, new countertops, and all new appliances
- Removal of a partial wall to provide a more open concept and better traffic flow
- Fresh paint throughout the house
- New flooring where it was needed
- Refurbished hardwood floors
Additionally, some recent improvements were done during our previous rector’s stay:
- Additional taller-growing shrubbery was added in the front yard to help dampen sounds from busy Danielson Pike.
- Brush has been cleared in the backyard and a small stone wall added, providing a nicer aesthetic, a private family space, and an enhanced view of the Scituate Reservoir
