Christmas Bazaar

Dates of the 2023 Bazaar

Friday, December 8 • 3pm-9pm
Saturday, December 9 • 9am-3pm

Our annual Christmas Bazaar is truly a community event, welcoming those from Scituate and the surrounding communities. Coinciding with the Scituate’s Christmas in the Village Festival of Trees, it’s a wonderful opportunity to see Trinity at our best and to join us in fellowship, and Christmas festivity. It’s also a great place to shop for friends and family and support our mission and ministry.

Areas of the Bazaar

The Bakery

Each year, we churn-out pounds and pounds delicious pastries and treats for you to purchase as hostess gifts or for your holiday table.

  • Maids of Honor – A traditional British dessert comprising of a layer of pastry, raspberry jam, yellow cake, frosting, and a maraschino cherry. Available in 6 or 12 packs. Maids are made in our certified commercial kitchen.
  • Cookie Trays – Our popular cookie trays are baked in home kitchens and wrapped on the premises just 2 days before pickup. Our cookie trays are well-known for being fresh and for each cookie retaining its own distinct flavor.
  • Buckeye Peanut Butter Balls – A favorite every year, prepared by the youth of our parish and their adult leaders in our commercial kitchen.
  • Homemade Fudge
  • Various Cakes, Breads, & Treats – Baked in home kitchens by real “church ladies” and delivered to Trinity just before the bazaar.

Photos With St. Nicholas

We are excited and blessed to welcome St. Nicholas to Trinity to pose for photographs with bazaar-goers. Photos will be offered at no charge, but a jar will be placed out for free-will donations to help defray the cost of supplies.

Surprise Dinner Gift Cards

This popular area, formerly called “Wine and Dine,” allows you to purchase an envelope containing a mystery gift card to a local restaurant paired with a complimentary bottle of wine or pack of craft beer. Each envelope is guaranteed to contain a gift card valued at $25 or more, but some are as high as $50!

If you are able to donate wine or gift card for this events, please email bazaar@trinitynorthsictuate.org.

Silent Auction

This year, we’re happy to announce the return of a full in-person Silent Auction. You’re encouraged to visit the bazaar, view the items in-person, and place your bids in writing.

We encourage you to like us on Social Media for a preview of this year’s auction items as they become available.

The auction site will be open from Friday at 3pm thru Saturday at 3pm. Winners will be contacted after the close of the auction if not present on Saturday afternoon.

All auction prizes must be paid for and picked-up within 7 days during one of the pick-up times posted on signage at the auction and on this website (Stay tuned!). If you do not pick-up your item by the designated date, you forfeit your prize and it will be donated. If you require special pickup accommodations, please email us and we’ll be happy to assist.

We accept cash, check, or credit card at the time of prize pickup.

Trinity Greens & Wreaths

One of the most popular items at our bazaar are our Trinity Greens, including hand-decorated wreaths and our Boxwood Topiaries. These beautiful miniature Christmas Trees made out of live boxwood branches and other greens are a mainstay in many of our patrons’ holiday decor. People have been known to wait outside for our doors to open in order to choose just the right tree, wreath, or cemetery arrangement.

Penny Social

Peruse our huge assortment of gifts, gift cards, housewares, and more Pay a low price for a number of raffle tickets and place tickets into the jar or box in front of the items you wish to win. At the end of the bazaar, we will draw the winners of each item.

Trinity Cafe

This year, we’re happy to be planning the return of our famous cafe, serving soups, sandwiches, warm beverages, and treats to enjoy as you visit the bazaar.

Thrift Shop

The Trinity will be open during bazaar hours on Friday and Saturday of Bazaar Weekend and they’ll be running a special sale of Buy One, Get one Free on any Christmas items.

You’ll want to stop-by and see all that the Thrift Shop has to offer.

Craft Vendors

One of the Hallmarks of our bazaar has also been a number of vendors that we welcome to join us.

We are currently deciding how many vendors we can accommodate this year and will have the vendor application posted online (below) by the end of September.

If you are interested in becoming a vendor, please email bazaar@trinitynorthscituate.org and we’ll add you to our list to be notified once a decision is made.

We also encourage you to visit the Indoor Winter Market at North Scituate Baptist Church during the Christmas in the Village Festival of Trees (Sponsored by Scituate Business Association) and events during the Christmas Stroll, sponsored by Scituate Village Community Collaborative.
